Register Today For Justice40 Webinars, Applications

On June 24 and 29, the Justice40 Accelerator will host information sessions on how the Justice40 Accelerator can support frontline organizations who would like to tap into resources, tools and funds available through the Biden-Harris Administration Justice40 policy initiative. These sessions will also prepare participants to apply for Accelerator funding support.

The Justice40 Accelerator is an exciting new project launched in partnership with Elevate, Groundswell, the Partnership for Southern Equity, The Hummingbird Firm, and The Solutions Project that will support Black, Indigenous, people of color, and woman-led non-profits, non-governmental organizations, and fiscally sponsored organizations working at the frontlines of climate and environmental crises.

The Justice40 Accelerator will prioritize support for black, indigenous, people of color, and women-led non-profits, non-governmental organizations. Applications that are grounded in, benefiting, and accountable to communities on the frontlines of environmental and climate crises, and can, with Accelerator support, immediately or eventually qualify for Justice40 federal funding are ideal candidates. These efforts are grounded in President Joe Biden’s Justice40 project which is meant to benefit “disadvantaged” communities, as defined by the federal government. The Justice40 initiative provides investments in energy, housing, economic development, workforce development, healthy and resilient communities and infrastructure, transportation, and water.

Participants who apply and are accepted into the Accelerator will receive direct discretionary funding of at least $25,000 each and will have access to Accelerator workshops, capacity building resources, and support from ally partners, if desired, to go after funding opportunities available. Applications are due no later than 11:59 pm PST July 7. Applicants will be notified by July 23 if they are being invited to join the Accelerator.

These information sessions will be held on Tuesday, June 29 at 6:30 pm ET and on Thursday, June 24 at 2 pm ET.  For more information, to register for an information webinar, or to apply for a Justice40 Accelerator grant, visit justice40accelerator.org.
